Usage Recommendations      

  • Recommended for use in rinse-off and leave-on personal care formulations at a concentration of 0.25–1.0%, with an applicable pH range of 4–8.
  •     During production, SY-PHP can be added to the aqueous or oil phase. Heating (up to 60°C) can enhance its solubility in water. Alternatively, it can be dissolved in a suitable solvent such as propylene glycol before being added to water, but the final concentration must be confirmed to be below its solubility limit in water.
  •     For shampoos, liquid soaps, and cream products, the recommended addition level is 0.3%–0.7%. For more difficult-to-preserve products and nonionic surfactant emulsions, the effective dosage should reach 1.0%.
  • Due to the wide variation in ingredients and formulations of personal care products, which may affect the efficacy of preservatives, we strongly recommend verifying the efficacy and stability of SY-PHP before production.
